Pricing
Our estimated prices for edge to edge quilting, basting, binding and hand finishing of binding are provided in the table below based on the size of the quilt. If you would like an actual cost based on your quilt top size then please email us with the dimensions of the quilt top.
Thread
Our edge to edge quilting prices include the cost of thread. We use Isacord 40wt thread or Glide 40wt. These are both trilobal polyester threads and have a lovely sheen. Glide has a higher sheen than Isacord but both quilt beautifully. We can quilt with cotton if that is your preference and our go to cotton thread is Superior Masterpiece 50wt. We are happy to quilt with your choice of thread but we would ask that you provide additional top fabric, wadding and backing (fat quarter size of each) so we can carry out a thorough tension test using your wadding, fabrics and thread of choice.
Wadding
You can provide your own wadding for your quilt or we can provide wadding (96 inches wide) at a cost. If your quilt top is wider than 90 inches on the shortest length then you will need to provide your own wadding. We use Hobbs Heirloom 80/20 cotton/poly wadding. If you would like to purchase from us we charge £10 per metre.
